Teal the End
I'm so excited to share my latest Makeup Look- Teal the End, on this Kenyan beauty, Sonnie. Summer is in full force here in Dubai and I thought why not create a look with some fierceness, and voila. So here is Teal the end !

Here's a breakdown on the products used.
Skin Prep :
To hydrate Sonnie's dry skin tone, I used Kevyn Aucoin Neo Elixir Beauty Oil. I picked this up during my trip to The Makeup Show in NYC. My only regret is that I didn't grab an extra bottle. The beauty oil has been recommended to use with your foundation but prepping her skin with this first gave her skin an instant boost of hydration.
Her lips were prepped and moisturized with Lucas Papaw ointment. If you're following me on Instagram @zareenshahco, you'll know that this is an absolute staple in my skincare kit.
Makeup Details :
For this teal makeup look, I wanted the focus on her eyes. Skin was kept minimal and naturally highlighted.
For Sonnie's foundation, two shades of Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r FDT in 460 & 490 were mixed to get her exact shade.
I also added a few drops of Face Atelier Pro Ultra Sheer in #4. This is THE product for creating super dewy skin. It's another amazing product that I grabbed at The Makeup Show NYC.
To create that pop of Teal, I used Makeup Forever Flash Color Palette using Bdellium Tools eyeliner brush in #710.

Some definition was added to her crease using the orange-brown eyeshadow from ViseArt Palette in Neutral Matte 01.
Highlights on her skin are a mix of liquid and powder based products.
Danessa Myrick's Illuminating Veil in Attraction was used to highlight Sonnie's features such as the top of the cheekbones, the centre of her nose and just around her Cupid's bow.
M.A.C Mineralize Powder in Gold Deposit was brushed on top of the cheekbones and the inner corner of her eyes.
There was barely any contour or blush used on Sonnie.
I mixed a few shades from Makeup Forever's Flash Palette to create a soft baby peach shade and gently dabbed it all over her lips with a fluffy crease brush.
Brows were defined using Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown.
For this look, I also decided to skip on using any mascara.
To accentuate her collar bones, I used Melanie Mills Gleam Body Radiance X Sonjdradeluxe mixed with some leftover foundation that was used on her face.

If you're intimidated by using teal as an eyeliner, check out my other makeup look to give you ideas and inspiration on how to use teal in a more subtle manner. Also, my Travel Vlog to The Makeup Show is now up on my Youtube channel. I really wanted to share my experience at The Makeup Show and explain why I get on that 14-17 hr flight all the way from DXB to NYC. Check it out when you can.
Hope you guys enjoy this look ! Leave me a comment below on your thoughts as I love hearing from you all 😘
